a midcentury 100% wool stadium blanket in yellow, brown and beige plaid from Faribault Woolen Mill in southern Minnesota. I don’t know if this is an official Scottish tartan. The company changed its name to Faribault Mill in 2022 when it bought Brahms Mount, a cotton mill, in 2022.There is an approximately 8″ long “biscuit” shaped patch that looks to be professionally inserted, so I am guessing this blanket was sold as a second. If the patch were a jewel, I believe the shape would be called marquis. The patch is somewhat hard to see.The small fringed blanket is 100% wool. Excluding fringe it measures 50″ x 52″.Apparently the Faribo name and three snowflakes are part of the branding. No zip code shown so maybe this is from before 1963 when zip codes came into use.
